The pot is coated in a ultrathin food grade silicone coating to prevent rusting before use. As you cook with the pan, the silicone coating will naturally wear off.
Do not use it in the microwave or with high flames.
Hand wash and dry thoroughly. Do not soak in water or store in humid places as that may cause rusting.
For tempura/deep frying only (do not use to boil, or simmer food).
Do not heat the pot when it is empty (without oil inside).
Do not close the lid while heating the oil.
After use, avoid storing food inside the pot.
Do not stack a lot of food on the lid, move fried items after some oil has been drained to another plate.
